P Desjardins atelier

Je m'y retrouve presque quotidiennement. Avec le temps j'ai eu besoin d'un endroit différent de ma résidence pour peindre et compenser l'isolement. J'apprécie d'y être entouré d'artistes et d'amis.

I spend there practically every day. With time, I've felt the need for a working place different from where I live in order to paint and compensate for isolation. There, I love to be surrounded by artists and friends.

Ocasionnellement, il se tient des journées Portes ouvertes où les artistes accueillent les visiteurs. Ce sont des rencontres très intéressantes et appréciées de tous!

Open Door days are regularly held in this building, where artists welcome visitors. These events are very interesting and well received by the artists as well as the public.

De hauts plafonds, de grandes fenêtres, plein de lumière, une vue sur le Canal Lachine, des tableaux en progrès plein les murs, voilà l'endroit où je me sens bien.

High ceilings, huge windows, lots of light, a view on the Lachine Canal, paintings in progress all over the walls, this is the place where I feel good

L'atelier se trouve dans une ancienne usine située sur les bords du Canal Lachine près du Marché Atwater. Il n'y a là aucun problème de stationnement, ni pour les visiteurs ni pour les locataires. Cet édifice abrite toute une communauté d'artistes.

The studio is located in the premises of an abandoned industrial building alongside the Lachine Canal. Parking is not a problem, as there is plenty of space for visitors as well as tenants. This building harbors a large community of artists.
